Code Cobalt built a professional WordPress website using the Kadence theme with custom branding. The site includes newsletter signup via Mailchimp, scheduling via Calendly, and a candidate search portal that allows candidates to create profiles and employers to search and filter candidates by location and career domain.
The Challenge
Project OnDemand needed a website that effectively communicates their value proposition: expert project management consulting and flexible staffing solutions.
The site needed to showcase their industry expertise and provide a platform for connecting with both clients and candidates. They required newsletter functionality, consultation scheduling, and later expansion to include a searchable candidate database with profiles, location-based search, and inquiry functionality for employers to contact candidates.
Our Solution
Code Cobalt developed a modern WordPress website using the Kadence theme with custom branding and full responsive design.
We integrated Mailchimp for newsletter signups, Calendly for consultation scheduling, contact forms with email verification, and set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console with SEO optimization using Yoast.
In a second phase, we implemented a candidate search portal using WP Job Manager plugin with extensive customization, including:
- Candidate account creation and login
- Candidate dashboard for managing profiles
- Searchable and filterable candidate listings
- Tabular candidate interface
- Inquiry functionality for employers to contact candidates
We customized the plugin significantly to match the site's design and provide a seamless user experience.
