The Challenge
The website needed to support 9+ languages, including multiple European languages, Simplified Chinese, and regional English variants.
While multilingual tooling was in place, translation behavior was inconsistent. Menus and navigation did not translate correctly, links broke when content was unavailable in certain languages, and the overall experience felt fragmented for non-English users.
Beyond fixing immediate issues, the client needed a structured translation approach that would scale without risking content loss or breaking manual translations during future updates.
